To be completely transparent with you, I have used peripherals from both brands in the past, and I can safely say that they have equal quality.

On the other hand, Logitech has a wider variety of options while maintaining better affordability and great performance.

When I say peripherals, I am not talking about just the mouse and keyboard. We’ll analyze all of the peripheral types that both brands offer. Let’s begin with mice!

Razer vs Logitech – Mice

Razer Design

The shape and weight of Razer mice are optimized for any type of gamer, whether that’s someone who wants to use the mouse for long periods of time or someone who needs very precise control over their movements.

They also come with at least two side buttons next to your thumb so that you can do things like initiate spells or toggle between weapons with just a flick of your thumb.

This is especially helpful if you’re playing games that require multiple keybinds or macros like World of Warcraft! I am not the biggest fan of MMO RPG games so I couldn’t get the most out of these mice.

As always, Logitech also has casual and cheaper headsets that don’t belong in their G series. These look quite simple and yet very elegant. They are made for casual activities like listening to music or doing some computer work. Sadly, Razer doesn’t have such options available.

When it comes to gaming headsets, Razer is actually cheaper than Logitech. Yup, you read that right! Although, that’s when we compare their entry-level gear where the difference is a couple of bucks.

While they both provide great sound quality and are both well-known brands, they might not necessarily be within your budget range since their pricing starts at about $40.

If you’re looking for a headset that will allow you to listen to music or watch videos while also occasionally playing a few games, you should consider going with the regular headsets of Logitech which are much more affordable and will offer you significant value for money.

Razer vs Logitech – Webcams

Streaming services like Twitch and YouTube have become extremely popular over the past few years.

Well, it turns out that the popular streaming software called OBS Streamlabs is owned by Logitech. You can guess where I am going with this, can’t you? Let me elaborate further…

I am going to compare the Logitech C920 vs the Razer Kiyo since they have pretty similar pricing. Both of them are well-designed webcams that can capture high-quality videos.

Design

The first thing that you notice when looking at the design of both webcams, is the adjustable built-in ring light that the Razer Kiyo has. However, this light is so small that it looks like you use a flashlight while streaming.

Both webcams are lightweight and portable enough to carry around with you when traveling or attending events where there might not be enough room for a full desktop setup.

The Logitech C920 is a bit more compact than the Kiyo. It has a sleek silver-and-black color scheme that won’t stick out in any room and looks professional but also modern. The Kiyo has a more playful “eye-like” design that some people may find more appealing than the more serious look of its competitor.

Quality

The only negative could be the skin tones as they tend to be a little pink. At last, the microphone quality of both webcams is decent considering the fact that all webcams have poor ones.

Without a discount, the Logitech C920 is $75.99 on Amazon, while the Razer Kiyo is $99.99 on Amazon. If you didn’t know anything about these webcams, you would assume that the Kiyo is slightly better, right?

Well, it turns out that this couldn’t be further from the truth. You are paying an extra $25 for a tiny ring light that you can’t realistically use and a 60FPS video that’s not even full HD? Wow! Razer has done it again!

The Logitech C920 is a great choice for people who want a high-quality product at an affordable price point. It’s one of the most popular webcams on the market for a reason!

At last, both Razer and Logitech are great peripheral makers, but which one you choose is going to depend heavily on your personal preferences and budget.
